Dialogue and Timeout training
Dialogue refers to a constructive conversation that opens up new understandings and perspectives. Dialogue can be used to strengthen inclusion, create equal encounters, develop collaboration, and support preparation or decision-making. I provide customized dialogue training, where participants learn the basics of dialogue, practice their dialogue and facilitating skills, and learn to apply dialogue within their communities. I also train the dialogical Timeout method, which includes tools for planning, facilitating, and evaluating the impact of constructive discussions. The method is excellent for building trust and inclusion in (work) communities, developing organizational culture, and engaging in strategic and future work. In Timeout training, participants learn the basics of dialogue and its facilitation, and make a practical plan how to implement Timeout dialogues within their own community.
Training on Democratic Encounters
I provide training to strengthen inclusion and everyday democracy, particularly from the perspective of how public and third-sector services can enhance democracy, and how each of us can be an active participant in democracy. Our Handbook for Democratic Encounters will be used as a support material in these trainings.
