Wellbeing at work for grant-funded researchers
Written by Elina Henttonen, Sikke Leinikki and Kirsi LaPointe, all with PhD and experts in wellbeing at work, this publication provides support and hands-on exercises to strengthen and maintain the meaning of work, manage everyday life and to utilize peer support. The workbook is aimed at grant-funded researchers, but it also helps universities and research institutes to identify the needs of scholarship holders in their work communities and to promote their well-being at work. Foundations can also use the workbook to promote the well-being of researchers, thereby contributing to the effectiveness and impact of their work.
The Oxford Handbook of Diversity in Organizations
Edited by Regine Bendl, Inge Bleijenbergh, Elina Henttonen and Albert Mills (Oxford University Press, 2015 and softcover edition 2017).
“This is a worthwhile handbook for diversity researchers and students, and it unquestionably should be placed on our office shelves to be used regularly. It is rooted in a well-established field, and it succeeds in avoiding a superficial, one-dimensional view while providing an extensive overview of both micro and macro perspectives on diversity.” – Varda Wasserman, Organizations Studies, Vol. 38(3-4), 561-567.
